Product Manager – Wallet

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for an Associate Product Manager who is data-driven, outcome-focused, and eager to learn. You’ll help define what we ship, improve our user experience, and make sure the product drives real business impact.

You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and regional teams to launch features, improve flows, and raise the standard for how people send and store money internationally.

What You'll Do

Discover Opportunities

• Analyze performance of our existing Wallets to surface gaps, growth levers, and friction points across activation, funding, and engagement.
• Benchmark competitors and adjacent wallet products to identify patterns, evolving expectations, and market opportunities.
• Support discovery through structured analysis of product data, customer feedback, local market behavior, and regulatory considerations.
• Translate insights into clear problem statements and hypotheses that guide what we build next.

Drive Execution

• Draft concise, actionable specs enabling Engineering, Design, and QA to move quickly and confidently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate trade-offs, refine scope, and ensure delivery quality across web and mobile.
• Help maintain momentum by tracking progress, identifying blockers early, and ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence.
• Support experimentation frameworks and help instrument features so learnings are measurable.

Own Outcomes

• Take responsibility for a portion of the Wallet customer journey (activation, funding, KYC, compliance flows, transactions, etc.) with guidance.
• Define success metrics that connect your work to measurable impact, growth, adoption, speed, reliability, or cost efficiency.
• Use data and structured research to understand what’s working, what’s not, and what should change.
• Adapt quickly when results differ from expectations, applying learnings to future launches and iterations.

Align Stakeholders

• Bring in compliance, legal, operations, and regional teams early to ensure wallet launches meet local requirements and customer needs.
• Clearly communicate the “why” behind proposals, ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with regional leaders to shape wallet experiences that feel local while preserving global consistency.
• Make trade-offs visible so teams can make informed decisions that balance growth, risk, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of product experience in software, fintech, or online services (internships and personal projects count).
• Solid technical foundation. Comfortable working with APIs, data structures, system behavior, and how digital products are built.
• Hands-on mindset: ideally you’ve implemented something yourself (a side project, university project, prototype, or portfolio piece). You know what it means to ship.
• Strong analytical skills. You’re able to break down funnels, interpret product performance, spot patterns, and turn them into actionable insights.
• Curiosity for payments, wallets, digital financial services, or global money movement.
• Interest or foundational experience in at least one of: product analytics, UX design, SQL, or web/mobile development.
• Clear communicator who grounds proposals in reasoning and evidence.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, and forming structured hypotheses.
• Familiarity with tools like Segment, Amplitude, PostHog, Branch, Datadog, or Iterable is a plus.
• Experience working across time zones or with distributed teams is a plus.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup, with at least Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office.
• Reside in Denver, CO or be open to relocating.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Bonus: You explore apps, analyze what makes them work, and naturally think about ways to improve them

Ria Money Transfer offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The reasonable estimated pay for this (Salary Exempt or Non-exempt hourly rate) role ranges from (120,000USD to $150,000USD). Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Ria Money Transfer offers comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental and vision benefits, a 401(K) plan, Paid Vacation/ Sick Leave and more.
